Description of Service
FolderPress is a service that transforms markdown files stored in your Dropbox into publicly accessible websites. You connect your Dropbox account, and we render your content as web pages.
Your Responsibilities
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Dropbox account. FolderPress authenticates through Dropbox OAuth—we never see or store your Dropbox password.
Content
You are solely responsible for the content you publish through FolderPress. You agree not to publish content that:
- Violates any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Contains malware or malicious code
- Is defamatory, obscene, or harmful
- Violates the privacy of others
Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to your content. FolderPress does not claim ownership of any content you create or publish. Your files stay in your Dropbox—you can take them with you if you leave.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. FolderPress is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FolderPress and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.
Termination
You may stop using FolderPress at any time by disconnecting it from your Dropbox account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which FolderPress operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
